T.S.O.L. – Ghost Train – Release Date: Friday, 13 December 2019

T.S.O.L. (True Sounds Of Liberty) the words every 80s punk know by heart. T.S.O.L are SoCal punk rock legends and on Ghost Train, the band brings a taste of the past and a solid chunk of the present to their first EP release with Slope Records on translucent blue vinyl. Ghost Train sounds like what the Psychedelic Furs would have put out if they had grown up in Hermosa Beach in the late 70s. Dark, punk, and a lot of new wave angst with singer Jack Grisham’s trademark baritone.

The Linecutters out with Black Flag for another big tour!

Black Flag is headed out on the road again for a five-day excursion in early December 2019 and a full month run starting in early January-February 2020. Once again, they’re taking out Arizona based hardcore band The Linecutters to accompany them on every show of the tour. Some of the dates include The Roxy on Dec. 7, 2019, and Slim’s, in San Francisco on Dec. 8, 2019. The tickets for both events are nearly sold out. Tickets for the upcoming 2020 tour are also available.

The Bombs Are Busy – Get Ready For The ROAD CASE!

2018 has been a huge year for the U.S. Bombs and the team here at Slope Records is excited for what comes next. The year started with Duane Peters and his band mates, Brandon “Brando” Meunier (guitar), Dave “Duke” Barbee (guitar), Phil “Stix” Barber (drums), and Steve “Stevie D” Davis (bass) on a six-week tour of the US supporting their two EP that came out in 2017, Clash Tribute and Hollywood Gong Show and the band really started to gel as they took one of the Slope tour buses around the country.

Over the summer, the Bombs played another handful of shows in June around the country before settling into Villain Recording in Phoenix to lay down tracks for their first full-length record, Road Case, since 2006. We couldn’t be more stoked to be involved with this record as the Master of Disaster and his mates have cranked out what will surely be a punk rock classic. The record drops on November 23, 2018, and the band looks forward to playing new songs as they embark on a tour with Total Chaos that starts in Clifton, New Jersey on December 28, 2018 and runs into February.

On a sad note, bassist Stevie D has been diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer. He is currently undergoing treatment and has a GoFundMe page here if you would like to donate and there will be a benefit show in Phoenix at the Crescent Ballroom on December 19, 2018, as well featuring fellow Slope artists, The Freeze, The Faded Pictures (featuring Jamie Blank of The Blankz and Moonlight Magic), French Girls, and several others including a killer surprise guest. Stevie is in great spirits and looking to fight this thing head on, so please tell him hello and wish him well while the band is on tour and if you have a juice machine, make him some juice.

The Bombs are also excited about their new website, usbombstheworld.com, which will be a one-stop shop for all things U.S. Bombs related and a way to stay in touch with the boys as they travel around the world in 2019. Exciting times here at Slope Records, for sure. Stay tuned for more information on how things are going with not only the Bombs, but all the Slope Records bands.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
