The early 80s were a special time in punk rock. The second and third wave bands, especially in Southern California, were finding their style, most often, in snotty, angry, guttural punk rock that was a bit meaner and harder, but also more melodic. Political Crap fired up the innards of many an angry youth around the beach towns and suburbs just south of LA in the wonderful land of Orange County in 1980 and 81, pushing Duane Peters further down the road to the legendary status in the punk rock world he enjoys (most of the time) today. This is the truth. This is Political Crap.
