The Father Figures are a blend of post-punk, skate rock, and full-on Arizona weirdness with almost a century of punk rock experience behind them. To say these guys bring the good stuff is an understatement but the Phoenix natives, who got started in 2009, deliver with both barrels blazing on Heavy Lifting which is the band’s fourth full length effort and first for Slope.
