In Anthill, Gilbert, Arizona’s The Linecutters have created a most excellent album. It’s the band’s debut full-length LP for Slope Records which comes on the heels of their EP, Pirates of Suburbia. Marceliano Festa (guitar/vocals), Jett Smith (bass/vocals), and Kaz McClain (drums) provide the soundtrack to teen angst, political confusion and straight up high-octane ska punk brilliance. The twelve-track effort was produced by the Meat Puppets own Cris Kirkwood at Premier Studios in Phoenix over a week in January and will be released in May. Check out their video for the song “Anxiety” on a website near you and look for The Linecutters at Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas on Memorial Day weekend. Stay tuned for more Linecutters tour news from Slope Records this summer.

Linecutters will celebrate the release of the record, Anthill, on May 20th at the Nile underground. Tickets available now.
